Why Not Pottery

I'm feeling giddy this morning, so two posts in one day. Whynot? I'm saying a whole lot when I say Whynot. There's a person who has been working tirelessly behind the scenes organizing a wonderful ceramics show with the Arts Council of Moore County in North Carolina, Clay and Blogs, Telling A Story. That person is Meredith Heywood. Meredith's been featuring other artist's work each Friday. So I decided to post photos of Meredith's work here (thanks for the idea Tracey). The cruet above and the tile below were made by Meredith, aren't they gorgeous?

Please checkout Whynot Pottery Blog for Friday nibbles for the upcoming show. If you are unable to attend the show, you can purchase work by Meredith and other artist's in the show at a preview online sale by going to the Arts Council of Moore County site here. Choose a piece of work and the artist will ship it directly to the address of your choice. Isn't that an easy way to send a gift to someone special, even yourself?

Here's information about the show, fifty ceramic artist's from around the world showing their work in one location. Hope to see you there:
