Stirling Gallery Reception Tonight

You're cordially invited to meet the artists and see the ceramics show tonight Friday, 1/14/2011 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm:

Stirling Gallery
730 Broadway
Dunedin, Florida

Each artist is bringing an appetizer. I decided to bring celery stuffed with whipped cream cheese mixed with walnuts and cranberries. I have two plates full, but I need to make another couple of batches. They are so-o-o-o good and so quick to make.

The whipped cream cheese makes it easy to mix in the pomegranate flavored dried cranberries and chopped walnuts and that's it, then stuff the celery. The aluminum foil is for transport, I will transfer the celery to a pottery tray I've made when I get there.

If you're in town please stop in and say hi, we'll have tables set up with more pottery tonight too. Tonights reception is being held in conjunction with the Dunedin 2nd Friday Art Walk, so lots more is going on in town.

Tomorrow, Saturday 1/15/2011, we'll continue with our pottery sale from 12 noon to 3 pm at the same location. Should be a lot of fun, hope to see you there. Thanks for your comments and for reading my blog.

  1. Yummm...That sounds good. Too bad I live in Kansas. I'd really love to come... It was too cold, last Friday (which was first Friday) to get to any of our gallery walks.

  2. Hi Turquoisemoon, thanks, I'm trying to decide what to wear, it was 25 here last night, we are hoping to warm up the end of the week. Try the celery sticks some time they are good. The cranberries came in these little packets with the flavoring already added so I tried that and they add just a bit of sweetness which is nice.

  3. I will have to make this appetizer soon, maybe this weekend for our guild holiday party. The exhibit looks great. We don't have much going on in January in NC.
