We had a Spring squall but it was brief. The clouds were spectacular to see, rising quickly, turning dark, dropping a touch of rain, then disappearing.
The persimmon is leafing out and there's signs of new growth everywhere.
While checking on my vegetables I noticed this cottontail was busy munching a small patch of grass. He kept eating while I took his photo. I could see his mouth nibbling the taller blades.
My raised garden beds are planted with herbs of marjoram, oregano, lemon balm, lemon verbena, rosemary, and lavender. I'm hoping the herbs soften the concrete block by growing over the edges. I also planted some catnip for my three cats. I'm still looking for some thyme.
Among the herbs I interspersed lots of tomatoes, basil and peppers. The radish and lettuce are almost ready, but the snow peas never did much of anything. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.
