Prayer Bowls

 Prayer Bowl One
1 3/4 high x 4 3/8 wide in inches

 Prayer Bowl Two
2 high x 5 x 4 1/2 wide in inches

 Prayer Bowl Three
2 1/2 high x 4 3/4 x 4 1/4 wide in inches

Prayer Bowl Four
3 high x 4 1/8 wide in inches

These four prayer bowls were pinched and are part of a commission. Made from earth, glass symbolizing water, and fired in the kiln - earth, water and fire. Thanks for reading and for all your comments..

  6. Loving that dark clay body. Seems like mostly they turned out fin, except for a little cracking, but yeah, you'd think poking a hole or two would do the trick, and a long slow firing. Did the glass fuse? Cool.

  7. Hi Amy, thanks, not sure what the glass will do over time though.

    Hi Becky, these are a white clay body with a dark glaze, the glass is melted along with the glaze during the firing and adheres to the glaze.
