Feeding the Birds

At the fish market the other day I was lucky enough to feed the birds some fish scraps.

The pelicans were more aggressive than the egret.

So I scooted the pelicans in the water so I could feed the egret.

I've ordered parts for the kiln so it'll be a couple of days before I can fix it. I'll post photos of the repair. Thanks for reading and for all your advice and comments.

  2. The birds you feed are much bigger than the ones I feed!

Hope you are feeling to crazed waiting to get your kiln going again!

  4. Good luck with your repair... I am sure you will do fine. If they don't send you good instructions, you can probably find them online. I know that Jeff has in the past.

  5. This reminds me of getting attacked(I didn't mind) by ducks at Franklin Lake, all looking for my bagel...(they got it, too, with no resistance from me).

  11. Hi Jane and Lance, thanks, the pelicans were so greedy and aggressive and the egret was so delicate looking I had to be sure he got some food too.

Hi Suzi, thanks, I have a small bird feeder in my yard too for the smaller song birds. Ha.

Hi Michele, thanks, I've seen several you tube videos and feel confident I can succeed.

Hi Mary, thanks, I once got threatened by geese at an RV park and I raised up my arms out wide like wings and they backed off from my threatening stance at the very last minute, thank goodness. I would have tossed them my bagel too. Ha.

Hi Carole, thanks, I was so lucky they let me feed the birds and they were wonderful to see up close.

Hi Vicki, thanks, it is lovely their on the water and their small dock and the birds are so happy floating in the water there. Humans and birds living in harmony.

Hi Elephant's Child, thanks yes they were hungry but they are better able to catch fish than the egret.

Hi Anna, thanks, I am amazed to see the different colors on the pelicans; they are such unique creatures.

Hi Optimistic Existentialist, thanks, they are wonderful looking and seem somewhat gawky but then again they are not at all. They have sweet looks to their faces too.
