Cold Blue Monday

It's strawberry season and it's 29 F in this part of Florida this morning. Yikes, it's darn cold. Not much energy for pottery making. Been sorting through closets, more pottery, and pottery supplies. Discovering lots of things I don't use. I'm more of a doer than a reader these days; I have pottery books I no longer refer to. Gary and I came up with a plan to re-organize the garage, but I think we'll wait for a warmer day to start on that.
I put together an Etsy treasury called Cold Blue Monday. Gee what could be the inspiration for that title. Ha. I was able to include all the folks who have made treasuries for my work in one treasury with blue items from their shop. Kind of fun. Hope you're staying warm. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.

  6. Thank you again for including my mug in your treasury!

I used to go to Florida around this time of year to visit my parents. While other tourists were excited about oranges, I gorged on strawberries and tomatos. They were such a treat in the middle of winter!

  7. We have yet another snow storm moving in so it won't be warming up soon. It has been a very cold, snowy year all over!

  9. cold this morning here in NC too--- which meant the garage was 48 degrees... had to warm up the part near the kiln a bit with my space heater, which works REALLY well! with this cold weather, I think it needs to snow!

Hi Lori, thanks, the strawberries are tasty looking on a green plate. Ha.

Hi Patti, thanks, I think most of the groves are farther south, but who knows it sure has been cold.

Hi Willow, thanks, you may get some of this cold air coming up to you. Aren't boxers the greatest dogs, so sweet.

Hi Meredith, thanks, I hope the frost doesn't get the strawberries.

Hi Michele, thanks, just my way of saying thanks to those who put my work in their treasuries.

Hi Ms. Sparrow, thanks, I think the cold dips down to us and then back up again. Ugh.

Hi Elephant's Child, thanks, it's fun to make up collections on a theme for the imagination.

Hi Amy, thanks, yes if it is cold I agree a nice white snow covering the ground would be so good to see.
