Yellow Flowers

Yesterday on my walk down the block I spotted these yellow flowers growing around the base of a tree in my neighbor's front yard. They were just a few inches tall but their masses made such a beautiful carpet. At my next home I need to plant flowers. I haven't moved yet and I'm already planning my next place. At this home I've only planted a few geraniums and herbs but the next place definitely needs more flowers. Sometimes it's good to take the time say goodbye to the old and welcome the beginning of something new.

Meanwhile we're feeling pressed (stressed) for time looking for a temporary rolling home. With two weeks left, it isn't easy balancing something dependable with something affordable. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.

  1. I love yellow! I should plant more flowers too, but I hate the bees that come with them. So I planted colorful crotons instead.

  3. They do look like a carpet...would make a good ground cover I think. They look like some kind of daisy, wonder what they are called. I am having to re-do my side yard as a result of being torn up for the plumbing. I am going to use ground covers, and very little grass. Big tree, lots of shade. Hub wants Asian Jasmine, but I think a yellow flower would look nice too.

  4. The question you need to answer is "can you afford the repairs of the less reliable vehicle?" Good luck in your search.

    Yellow flowers always seem happy.
