Image Transfer

Even in a tiny trailer at a campground my mind wanders to thoughts of clay and art. I picked up The New Book of Image Transfer at the library which outlines how to transfer images to just about any surface even pottery. The pottery it's only baked in an oven not a kiln and must be hand washed. Still I was thinking this might be a way I could incorporate some of my photographs from over the years to my pottery. I also thought to transfer images to cotton kitchen towels or napkins as a complement to my clay work. Dreams for the future.

I read two more books:

The Absent One by Jussi Adler-Olsen
- a gripping, grusome, grotesque Danish thriller

Same Kind of Different As Me - Ron Hall and Denver Moore
- a true story of a friendship between a modern day slave and an international art dealer

I'm feeling much better today; now I need to get connected to the internet. I'm thinking about getting a jet pack through Verizon, hopefully soon. I can't even comment on your blogs with this library connection. Thanks for all your comments and encouragement.

  5. I am glad that you are feeling better. And of course you think about pottery and art no matter where you are - it is what artists do.

  7. Linda, we got the Verizon 4G Jetpack to use at our house in Idaho, where we had no internet. Hub used it for business daily and was pleased with it.
