Toccoa Falls

Our Sunday excursion took us to Toccoa Falls in Georgia, just across the western border of South Carolina.

The falls have a drop of 186 feet.

If you look closely in the first photo, you can see Gary standing behind a boulder at the base of the falls to give you some perspective.

The falls are on the grounds of aptly named, Toccoa Falls College.

Every Sunday a buffet lunch is served in the cottage adjacent the falls, so we took advantage.

The huge room was more than a cottage to me, a king's cottage perhaps. I could live in a room like that. Greenwood ceramic studio tours coming up next, I promise. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.
