Bosco Sacro Gardens

Neptune

If I had to spend the rest of my days in one place I'd probably choose a sculpture garden like the Bosco Sacro Gardens in Italy.

the sacred grove or grove of monsters

subtle nuances of change would permeate my minds eye

light would fall different each day

moss might be thinner or thicker or brighter

rocks more worn and weathered

I'd stroll with much thought and contemplation

the world outside would no longer matter

I'd rest at night with great calm

dreaming of strange creatures, of beauty and wonder and gods

I'd become one with nature around me.

If you had to spend your time in one place where would you choose?  Images borrowed from the net. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.

  2. Those pictures are beautiful, they remind me of Bobolli Gardens in Florence, IT.

I think I'm too nomadic to spend my life in any one place but if my potter's wheel and some clay where there...

  3. How I love Italy. The art, architecture and history. I took students to Europe several time before I retired and Italy/Greece was my favorite trip. As to a place well being what I love most to do a mountain trout stream in Montana would be just about right...:)

  5. I would have a hard time choosing one place. Like Lori said, where there is clay and a potters wheel, I could be happy...

  6. What an amazing place. It would be a garden I am almost sure. Perhaps I could become a tree... Wandering off thinking about it.
