Happy Trails Binky

Binky
1998 - 2014

Binky went to cat heaven yesterday, happy trails Binky. If ever a cat deserved cat heaven it's definitely Binky. He was our constant companion for the past 16 years. Click this link for the heart warming story "Binky's Stump" about his miraculous survival. Binky was lost in the snow for more than a month and somehow survived. After traumas of snow blindness, frost bite, and near starvation Binky suffered many challenges. He lived through thick and thin and never complained nor did he ask for much but a bit of cuddling and food. Through the years Binky showed us that an unquestioning love of life and those around you is a life well lived. Thanks for the lessons Binky.

  1. Hello Linda:

We are so sad for you. You will miss Binky terribly and he will, as our long gone cats are, always be a part of your lives. Sixteen years is a long time which, somehow, makes it even harder.

  2. It is so difficult to say farewell to our furry friends, especially after so long. Handsome Binky's story of survival is quite remarkable, thank goodness you didn't give up on him. Sending a hug your way, Elaine

  13. I'm so sorry to hear about Binky passing. He is a beautiful and remarkable cat. I think there is something about the gray tigers-I had one that went through all kinds of things as well. They certainly are special. Hugs to you, I know that this is a very difficult time.
