Hemmings Motor News

We toured Hemmings Motor News in Bennington Vermont the other day. If you love old cars and nostalgia then this is a place to stop and spend some time. They had good coffee at the gas station island but it wasn't cheap, but the museum was free.

There's Gary dreaming of owning this convertible.

Just a few of the antiques cars and such we saw. Thanks for reading and for all your comments. Up next a sculpture garden visit and then a scary break down on the road. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.

  2. Lovely...in a mannish sort of way I guess. But from my dad's love of mechanical things to my son's, I've always also been fascinated by them!

  5. Scary break? I hope all was well.
I am not car minded - but think the old ones have charm. Charm that is largely absent from our modern boxes...

Hi Barb, thanks, I've had quite a few old cars in my time and I love the style of them, so much chrome and made to last.

Hi Michele, thanks, he did only wished it was a bigger museum. Ha.

Hi Dee, thanks, if only you saw me a few years ago you'd say it was woman place too.

Hi Sue, thanks, yes no charm in the modern cars nowadays.
