Unadilla and Oneonta New York

This time we camped by the side of a creek in Unadilla New York which is just before the town of Oneonta.

A lazy creek meanders by our camp site.

Blue asters and goldenrod abound along the countryside everywhere.

Trees fall beside the creek and are left to decay.

Life is good, That is after we made it through all the rough roads that proliferate this state. I suspect the frozen earth of winter heaves the ground and creates havoc with the roads here. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.

  1. Hello Linda,

How wonderful that you have escaped on an adventure for a little while. And, what a beautiful place to escape to. So serene and calm, just the place to reflect on life and gather one's strength. Enjoy!

  4. Camping always was lovely, and especially in the "off season," September and October, when children are back in school and the campgrounds fairly empty.

  8. What fun to take your time and enjoy the trip north. I hate that we are always on a strict time frame when heading to NH and back. Someday things will be different!
