Driftwood Baskets and Views

Here are a couple more baskets I made yesterday. I used the stacked strips of clay for this one.

I added two starfish on this basket one on the front and one on the back. One side of the handle will go through a hole in one side and the other will be attached with either wire or thread.

One of my friends in Florida wanted to see the Autumn colors and the view from the deck so I took some photos yesterday.

Thanks for reading and for all your comments.

  2. Hi Joanne, thanks, it's like we're living in a tree house from the upper deck we are so lucky to have found this place. By the way got the towels, will post on them tomorrow, thanks so much.

  3. Those vessels are mighty fine designs. You have much more color than I do, at least in my neighborhood of mostly oaks. But this weekend I'll be on the road and get to see what the mountains of NC can offer.

  7. Hi Lori, thanks, we are enjoying the colors but the leaves are a pain as Gary has to keep blowing off the driveway every day.

Hi Dee, thanks, one of these days I'll get around to doing a video. for the stacked pieces it could take me several hours to make, for the strips a little less time. then I have to fiddle/finesse with the piece to see which piece of driftwood goes with it.
