Maple Tree, Maple Leaves

At the edge of the forest is a beautiful maple tree. It's just now coming into it's own.

With tones of peach, orange, scarlet, and yellow, golden yellow.

In Summer this tree is a lighter shade of green.

It really stands out in all the seasons. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.

  1. This time of year the maples really show off beautifully. You’re fortunate to have so many around you.

  3. Hi Lori, thanks, this particular one right at the edge of the forest is so nice as I can see it clearly from our front deck.

Hi Gigi, thanks, oh the colors are so beautiful, too bad we have so many leave to contend with when they all drop. oh well

  4. Oh so pretty! There's something about watching trees change with the seasons!
Our maples (mostly swamp maples) are just about done but the beech and oaks have just begun to change. The somber reds and rusts of the oaks lit up by the gold of the beeches does not have the spectacular color of other trees but has a somber beauty of its own. Winter is coming!

  6. Me too, I want to see Beech in the fall. I live on Beech St. and I haven't seen a single beech tree on it!

  7. Hi Barb, thanks, I wonder if they are native this far south, we saw some in NH but they were green when we were there.
