Three Furry Friends

Yesterday I made it down to the studio and applied stains to the two rabbits and the cat. The cat is about 16 inches tall. The rabbit heads are permanently attached but the cat has a removable head. I hope to bisque fire these and other pieces I made some time ago real soon. Then on to the second firing for glaze. Since it's been so long I know they're good and dry.

My swollen leg doesn't seem to be reducing in size much. What if the swelling never goes down. Gary keeps telling me I'm getting old. I'm young in my mind, my body just doesn't heal as quick as it used to I guess. My three furry friends seem hopeful I'm banking on their being right. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.

  3. Hi Anna, thanks, I was trying to get the rabbits completed before Easter but then I fell I hope I can get them done in time. I think any animals are popular most times of the year. This darn leg is really holding me back.

  4. You didn't tell us what the medicos said about your leg. How soon will you be better?

    1. Hi Joanne, thanks, they said they thought it would take 10 days for the swelling to go down, if not then it might be something else, which I hope it isn't

  6. Sending more healing energies your way. Lovely critters! Cats know, lie around and lick it...what? a bit too far? oh well, that's the problem then!

  7. I like what Barb said, "lie around and lick it..." that is what a cat would do. But I doubt if you want to do that (maybe soaking it would be a good alternative). And I love your little critters (bunnies and cat)!

  13. Very sweet critters. We all love white rabbits, don't we, oh and cats as well!

If your leg has pain, have you tried soaking in an Epsom salts bath? That's what I have to do after my physical therapy. I don't know if that would help the swelling, but it might.

  16. Very cute, I'm sure it felt good to be back in the studio. Strains seem to take forever to heal. Good luck with it.
