Sushi

Recently our local grocery store started carrying sushi. I knew we'd be in big trouble financially since we love sushi, so I decided to learn how to make it myself. Just about anything you want to learn can be found on a youtube video. Above is my first attempt at a sushi roll. I used seaweed, sticky rice, cucumber and artificial crab leg. The sushi roll wasn't that bad. I found out real ginger isn't the same as pickled ginger. I must find a source for that. The kiln is firing down on another glaze load.   2. Hi Barb, thanks, I used a potato peeler to slice my fresh ginger and it was so strong we couldn't eat it. Ha. but the sushi was good and very easy to make, I did get the sticky rice and added rice vinegar to it and stirred it up till it was really sticky.
