Give me a Sign

The other day I picked up some lettering blocks. Look what I made today - a sign for my pottery. I plan to use a clear glaze over the top of this speckled clay, can't wait to see how it turns out. I want to use this at a local store which will carry my pottery. More about that later.

Meanwhile I've been trying out my new push plate forms which Gary made for me. This size would be perfect for a luncheon plate or could also be used for a serving plate.

Here's the form I used today. These are working out really well. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.

  7. Love the sign! And I like the lettering. We don't have a Wally World, but perhaps Michaels or Hobby Lobby might have them...(may have to look). Tried alphabet pasta once, but way too small and cumbersome.

  8. Hi Rian, thanks, I bet they have them at either place in the rubber stamp section, these were mounted on blocks of wood and so easy to use. I tried alphabet pasta in the past but I was only using it for texture. must try it again some time.
