Flowery Thoughts

At my local building supply I saw this antherium. I'm usually not attracted to the color red but the flowers remind me of Hawaii so I decided to splurge. I do much better with outdoor plants than indoor plants so we shall see about this one. When I got home I noticed it really needs to be repotted so I'm thinking of making a flower pot for it. Maybe this lipstick matt red might match the blossoms.

The garden has sported a lone pink tulip.

And the crabapple I planted last year is blooming. Soon the other crabapple will be in full bloom and it is spectacular. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.

  1. My anthuriums did better indoors as they didn't like direct sunlight. Good luck with yours.

  2. That glaze will be perfect on a pot for your new plant.
I wish all these Spring blooms lasted longer, but maybe that is why we they are so special to us.

    1. Hi Michele, thanks, my perennial garden is just starting to come back to life, looking forward to that, and hopefully will add more as I can afford it to extend the bloom season.

    1. Hi Elephant's Child, thanks, that pot is a tiny one so I'll be making a larger one for the antherium.
