Early Summer Garden

Here's my perennial garden in early summer. The larger plants were planted from 3 inch pots two years ago. They are really filling in. The tallest plant, over five feet, is the bee balm which is just starting to bloom. And that big bunch was from one plant, it really spreads underground.

My flower garden is now producing enough flowers for me to take some to the farmer's market each week. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.

  3. Wow! Your plants have really taken hold. They look so lively and beautiful, but it doesn't seem possible that you have been in your house for two years. Time certainly does fly!
Toes crossed you do well at your farmer's market.

  5. Lovely as always! You give me hope for the little 3" pots I planted this year. I was disappointed that I didn't find any bee balm :-(

    1. Hi Laura Lia, thanks, Barney is much like a dog, if we are in the garden he follows us around and then sits there while we do our chores. Ha.
