Bell Mountain

This past Sunday Gary took me on a ride to the top of Bell Mountain in Hiawassee.

The water you see is Lake Chatuge.

Here's the view from the other side of the mountain, a sheer drop off.

Some folks can't resist putting their mark on nature.

Driving up there it felt like it was almost straight up. Four wheel drive came in handy. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.

  1. Thanks for sharing an outlook which I won't be visiting in person...glad you had that 4 wheeler! Tomorrow I plan to go driving on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

  2. What a beautiful place. Sigh on the grafitti front. Nature is a much better artist.
