Wildflower Seeds

Who doesn't like a field full of wildflowers? I decided to splurge on some seeds for two slightly barren sections in my yard.

One quarter pound of seed for $7.95. Much less expensive than buying individual seed packets.

Since the seeds are very small I plan to mix them with sand and then broadcast them over the ground. To simulate the freeze and thaw of winter I can also put them in the freezer in a plastic bag and then take them out and repeat several times. I'll check the seed company website to see if this process has already been done with these seeds. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.

    1. Hi Joanne, thanks, I hope the birds don't eat all the seeds, the directions says to broadcast them over the top of the ground.
