BP Update and Tulip Tree
With all the big winds we've had many branches have fallen to earth. I found a tulip tree branch on the deck with a bud on it. The tree we have is too tall to get a good photo of the flowers. But I remembered the tree I planted in Springville and I copied the photo above for you to see the flower. The flowers are often hidden among the dense leaves.
I was watching a gardening program yesterday morning; they mentioned when a person plants a live oak tree they don't plant it for themselves but for the future. Since live oaks grow so slowly one must have a vision and imagine the beauty and shade they will provide for succeeding generations. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.
