Details

Yesterday I noticed a small piece of wood sitting on the forest floor. I gathered it up to take a closer look.

Pale cream and grey mushrooms look like shells clinging to a rock.

Perhaps a spider or small beetle makes his home under one.

Pastel green lichen peel and furl on the bark. It's all in the details and once again I am easily entertained by nature. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.

    1. Hi Sue, thanks, I thought about trying to make a piece like this in clay but I am sure I couldn't even come close to the details.

  3. What a wonderful little treasure. I thought at first it was shells on a rock, then looked closely to see that miniature world.
    There's a lot inspiration there!
