Remember the mouse that Barney brought in about a week ago. The mouse escaped and we couldn't find him. Very early Christmas morning the mouse appeared under the desk, Barney alerted me. Gary got him cornered on the left side of the desk and I opened the door and the mouse ran outside. Barney was waiting for him but he didn't catch him. Thank goodness; best Christmas present we could have. Sad for the mouse though since the weather has now turned really cold. Merry Christmas mouse.
Mice have ways of keeping warm, it was so nice of you to give this one a vacation, and like going to FL, he's now returned to his home!

ReplyDeleteGreat story about your Christmas mouse. We have one too. A feral mama cat had her 2 kittens disappear from our backyard last week. She cried and ran around looking for them for days... extremely distraught. DH and I were puzzled, but prayed the worse hadn't happened (there are coyotes around). Well, Christmas morning, mama appeared back in our yard with one of the kittens! She found one! It was our little Christmas miracle.
