  1. It is always so sad to see a beautiful building in decline.

    1. Hi Sue, thanks, and someone is trying to keep it from completely fall down because they cut four big sycamore trees in front by topping them severely, strange.

  2. I have a small replica of a cabin of that style. Roof, chimney, porch and all. Made by a Maryland artist. I gave it to a friend with a log cabin and a collection of small houses.

    1. Hi Joanne, thanks, I was thinking of trying to paint this one, makes me wonder about all the folks who lived there once, I notice it has large overhangs and doors on both sides and windows on other sides to enable cross breezes.

  3. It looks like it was a really nice house once. Don't think it's probably recoverable, but what do I know.

  4. Hi Rian, thanks, no I don't think it can be restored, I wondered why folks were letting it slowly decay and yet protected it with chopping down some very tall trees. it was unsafe to even enter as it was very hazardous.

  6. Hi Lee, thanks, I didn't dare go inside, not a safe building but I am sure of the stories.
