He used the end of a 36mm film can for a mold; he pushed the clay in and got it out, somehow. A shank formed of the clay through the spindle holder part of the end. He pierced that with a toothpick for a hole to sew. Some he decorated with a flower and I don't recall the other decorations he used. I realized the other day I have some left; would you like me to send you one?Joanne Noragonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09834682329952369721noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7184126423669640998.post-38021695348150645602014-11-25T15:49:49.799-05:002014-11-25T15:49:49.799-05:00Love your tower - and its lid.

Each section was fired on a base that matched top of the piece it would seat into. Does that make sense?

I'm sure it will fire just fine.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and Gary.smartcathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15430370214403895826noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7184126423669640998.post-84363028700275504682014-11-25T09:07:40.579-05:002014-11-25T09:07:40.579-05:00I make raku fired buttons, have a sold a few.
