Violet is one of my favorite colors, glad you like it too. The pieces on the side of the blog are from my cone 10 firing a few years ago, I came across them and decided to change the look of the blog. With them up there I am now thinking about revisiting some of the forms.

Hi Kittie, thanks, I am really jazzed and have so many ideas of colors and shapes for other pieces; it really helps having my own kiln and being able to control every aspect of the work.

Hi Monique, thanks so much, the teapot came out super and I fired the top separately and amazingly it fits perfectly. The plate on the upper left is a cake pedestal the pedestal doesn't show in the photo and it came out great. Now I want to make more, more, more, mixing and matching the glazes and with the various forms.Linda Starrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04364078667554676592noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7184126423669640998.post-11090345244441266652010-09-05T10:56:48.717-04:002010-09-05T10:56:48.717-04:00the tall oval shaped vase on the left looks great....the tall oval shaped vase on the left looks great... please post a pic of it later!Michèle Hastingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11346907762804197879noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7184126423669640998.post-19093843588548198152010-09-05T10:38:37.948-04:002010-09-05T10:38:37.948-04:00I think you had nice results.
