Tiny Frog & Another Seahorse

Some of you may not know my previous studio was in the middle of lavender and botanical gardens I created in California. I used to grow literally hundreds of flowers, fruits and vegetables. Here's a dahlia from those gardens.

Here's another seahorse with seagrass applied as sprigs as well as the seahorse. This is about 9 x 12 inches. I made the water more stylized, but it's still not what I was after. My drawing looked better than this turned out. I didn't realize that blue was so bright. Maybe one more seahorse will do the trick. Ha.

Here's that tiny frog I told you about. Actually this is the larger one. The space between the bricks is about 1/4 inch so you can see how small he is. Notice the front part of his head and eyes are kind of a reddish brown color. I hope that's normal. Sorry about the out of focus, but I had to run to get the photo because he jumps really fast. Up next recipes and more, so please stop back by. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.

  1. Hi Linda - I just released 4 tiny frogs that I hatched from tadpoles - so it's probably just a newly morphed one!

  3. Love your new work - from Meagan's workshop. The tiles and geometric design and colors are wonderful. There are so many varieties of frogs - but this one may just be a baby frog. Florida is so full of interesting creatures.

  4. Hi Linda, thanks so much, I hope it isn't some kind of evolutionary problem with this little guy.

Hi Linda, thanks so much, love the feedback. Oh I do miss those gardens.

Hi Judy, thanks, I hope this new work doesn't warp or crack, we shall see since it is a lot of fun to make and has a real happy feeling which I and I think so many others need right now, wish me luck.
