I used to enter Gary's and my photos in art shows that accepted photography; Gary would always get first place and I would get honorable mention. Gary kept saying he wasn't an artist - little did he know.Linda Starrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04364078667554676592noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7184126423669640998.post-3035214662387647712009-10-15T11:15:13.745-04:002009-10-15T11:15:13.745-04:00great photos of the ghost towns... i've been t...great photos of the ghost towns... i've been taking photos of photos too when i have to. love the conestoga in the first pic.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7184126423669640998.post-14229296348581596772009-10-15T10:45:33.662-04:002009-10-15T10:45:33.662-04:00Thanks Miri, no I am on dialup, these photos, I to...Thanks Miri, no I am on dialup, these photos, I took a photo of the photo with my digital camera and uploaded them, so that's why they be a little blurry.

Hi Patti, thanks, lots of towns died after the gold rush days, no more gold so no more reason for people to be in the town. I love the towns empty of people though.

Hi Mary, thanks, yes they have lots of stories to tell. Gary lived in Colorado before we were married and he said there are ghost towns there, one up at 10,000 feet I think in Marble, CO.

Hi Ron, thanks we are just generally heading south and then east, but no real details, we are taking the southern route to avoid too much snow. We'll see a few potter friends along the way and end up on the East Coast and then stay for a while and look for a new place to live there I think.Linda Starrhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04364078667554676592noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7184126423669640998.post-59051096128342165792009-10-15T10:07:17.930-04:002009-10-15T10:07:17.930-04:00Love the ghost town shots, I remember some of the...Love the ghost town shots, I remember some of the places you have referenced and am looking forward to more of your adventures.
