Peas, Pea Coats, Handles
I could eat pounds of sugar snap peas. I love them. I didn't even take the stems off; I ate every bit. I put a pat of butter in a pan, sprinkle a little tarragon, dried orange rind, and saute till warm and serve. They don't really need any spice but I tried something different this time.
Remember pea coats? The double breasted buttons on this piece are a little wonky, but it reminded me of a pea coat. Black clay is hard to photograph and see the detail. This piece is about 13 inches tall and 5 inches wide.
I always make something and then try to figure out how I will prop it up. These small handles were easy.
Then I decided to make a large handle on another tray for variety. Wonder how I'll prop this up till it dries?
Thank goodness for the invention of plastic bags and painter's tape.
