We took a trip to our local beach as a getaway the other day. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.

  1. What great pictures! I've been longing for the beach, these images help.

  2. Hi Lori, thanks, there were so many people on the beach I didn't take a photo of that part, they just refurbished the beach with thousands of tons of sand and it was on Sunday so it was packed with people after the reopening. but the trail and pier were great.

  3. I'm a little envious of the flowers and butterfly. Our spring weather has fled...down in the 20's last night.....it will warm up though....toes crossed

  4. A lovely reminder in pictures of beach joys...thanks!

  5. Looks like you got some great R&R. Sometimes it is just time to put it all aside for a while.

  6. Great pics and a wonderful way to spend the day! I love the beach and must admit that I'm a little jealous. :) Might just have to come over for a visit! lol

  7. What an awesome day! Thanks for sharing.

  8. It sure is a pretty place to live!

  9. Hi Suzi, thanks, well soon I'll be envious of your cooler weather. Ha.

Hi Barbara, thanks, yes the beach is a place to relish for sure.

Hi Patti, thanks, yes we've been staying home with the fuel prices, but every once in a while it's good to take a drive to local haunts.

Hi Marguerite, thanks, come on down, we've got the room for sure, you and I could cook up a storm.

Hi Ms. Sparrow, thanks, yes relaxing for sure, Spring is such a wonderful time of year.

Hi Meredith, thanks, yesterday Gary and I were just saying we could do a lot worse that's for sure, we do live in paradise here.
