Golden Thoughts

Creaking bones, sagging skin,
golden years.

Brilliant sun reflecting
golden steeple.

Dark feral cat
showing golden eyes.

Sipping tea fingers clad
in gold rings.

Car overturning centers
two gold lines.

Jewelry boxes banks holding
no gold coins.

Children friends speaking
golden tongues.

Countryside waving sparse
golden grains.

Light streaming through
golden leaves.

Shimmering gold
golden thoughts.

  1. Is this yours, Linda? It's beautiful!

  2. And in my eyes, nature's gold is the most valuable.

  3. Hi Teresa, thanks, yes, I was inspired by the gold steeple and the gold leafed tree both in the same town of Dahlonega, curiously it was the first town gold was discovered in Georgia.

Hi Barbara, thanks, not much we can do about our golden years but try to enjoy them.

Hi Joanne, thanks, yes we must appreciate the golden moments and try to minimize the ones that aren't so golden.

Hi Elephant's Child, thanks, so true natures natural gold is the best.
