Stuck in the Mud

Just before we left on a whirlwind trip to Florida for my birthday, I received Tony Clennell's book Stuck in the Mud in the mail. I've only read a few pages but I'm thoroughly enthralled with the telling and the content. It's a long time potter's perspective on his life and building a career in clay. For a more thorough review please see Dennis Allen's post here. If you intend on a career in clay this book should be required reading. Even if you aren't a potter I highly recommend this entertaining semi autobiographical novella. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.

  1. Thanks Linda.I got a note from Tony the other day. He seemed to enjoy the review too.

  2. As an non potting, biography/autobiography addict it sounds right up my street. Or in my ditch. Whatever.
Thanks Linda, I will have to track it down. Later.

  3. Hi Dennis, thanks, I just started reading the book, Gary leafed through it and said it was well written and he'd like to read it too. Ha.

Hi Elephant's Child, thanks, you can click the link to be taken to tony's blog and get his email to order the book.

  4. Good to hear about...I am sure it's well done, since I read Tony's blog every day (almost). What a good thing to share about!

I love suggestions, questions, critiques, thanks for your comment
