In this firing I had a number of leaves. These can be used for a spoon rest, soap dish, ring dish, bread and butter plate, appetizer dish, etc. They are very useful leaves.
Would you believe I don't have one of these on my stove for a spoon rest? I must remedy that.
This and the next two are a larger size leaf I made, about 9 x 6, suitable for a salad or side dish.
And here are a few more of the smaller sized leaves, about 4 x 5 inches.
This is a green celadon over the speckled stoneware.
All of these leaves are made with the speckled stoneware clay. These leaves are a popular seller at the farmer's market so I am trying to stock up before all the leaves have fallen. There are a few more items to show you from this firing coming up next. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.
