Meadow Vole

Not a creature was stirring, except a vole. A vole was stirring on the front screen porch and Barney (our cat) noticed him. The vole had squeezed under the screen door and was looking for a warm spot. I brought Barney in but the next morning Barney spotted the vole again.


In came Barney and we skirted the vole under the door. I hope he made it without too much trauma or injury. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.

    I am not surprised the vole was looking for warmth. And echo your hopes for its safety.
