Bonkers is Easily Entertained

Bonkers is easily entertained on the front screen porch. He drops an errant leaf into his water bowl and then tries to fish it out. He is fascinated with swirling water.
Even without a leaf he takes his paw and lifts the water bowl slightly and lets it drop and watches the water swirl around. He likes to watch the water in the toilet bowl swirl around too.
Even though I'm close by taking his photo, he isn't distracted. After all leaves in water are much more important. It's uncanny how Bonkers likes to sleep or laze about in the same exact locations that Barney used to - next to top step, foot of bed, in front of vent in kitchen, etc.

In other news the market was a bust. It rained and the wind blew so hard the rain got us wet even though we were under cover. I can't complain much because one woman who makes glass ornaments had her tree blow over and every ornament was broken. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.

  1. So glad you have Bonkers! There's nothing cuter than watching a cat entertain himself. So many times I've wondered what they were thinking. The raccoons do this also. They will find a toy or a stick and bring it into the water bowl... then sit there and try to fish it out.
And sorry about the weather at the market. Hopefully there will be another before Christmas?

  3. Hi Sue, thanks, yes that poor woman, I suspect others lost some items as well, I was lucky in that respect.
