Dreamer, Traveler, Potter

1953 Dreamer

Here's a few photos of me in previous hats. I took the last photo moving day when I was so harried. I'm slowly recuperating and hope to look and feel young again soon. In about a month I'll head out to look for a new place to live and set up my ceramics studio. In the interim I'll be renting studio space in various locations. I'm learning to operate my laptop and how to load photos, once I master that I'll introduce you to some of the characters in this RV (recreational vehicle) park. Bird Man consented to photographs last night, so he'll be up first so stay tuned. Please make comments and let me know what you're up to.

  4. Life always seems to offer us new adventures. Some let these adventures pass by, but others who are brave take the leap and find the joy.

  5. It is always neat to see pictures of people when they were children – and that is a very precious photo of you! The picture of you as a beekeeper looks like Arkansas. Did you enjoy beekeeping?

  7. Looks like you have had the same A.D.D career issues that I have had :)
I loved the photo chronology, that would be fun for all of us to do sometime, I think. You look great in all of them!

  8. Hi Mary, thanks, I tried real estate in Arkansas, no sense not trying it cause when you get old you won't have to say I wish I would have...

Hi Tinkerfeet, thanks, I am starting to relax a bit more now that a few financial items are out of the way, just need to get health insurance and a few more repairs to our moving vans and we are out of here.

Hi Kitty, thanks, I am trying to get organized right now. My mind was so overwhelmed I wasn't thinking clearly for a while, but now it is clearing up and I am getting the details worked out.

Hi Cindy, thanks, I sure haven't lacked for adventure in my life that's for sure and I am so glad I did because I have lots of goodmemories and more to come.

Hi Jewels, thanks so much I thought folks might enjoy seeing these photos which I duplicated while I was packing I kind of amazed myself too. He, he. the beekeeping was in Arkansas and I really enjoyed it and learned a lot from the bees. A local 80 year old beekeeper helped me and he was so happy that I was interested in the bees since none of his children were inclined.

Hi Judy, thanks, seeing these and remembering is reminding me of all the good times in my life to help erase the bad times, which is very helpful right now.

Hi Tracey, thanks, being a Gemini I am always bouncing all over the place and can't help myself, even with clay - still no main focus although at least it's just clay for now.

  12. Hi Brandon, my parents raised Boxers for years and my sister still does and is a dog handler; I just did it when I was younger and then went on to other pursuits, glad to see you back blogging, it does take a little time but you get to meet some wonderful potters and it has been real helpful to me for the encouragment.
