It's Never Too Late

Just wanted to say it's never too late to say thanks, you're sorry, you forgot, you wish you had, or say what's on your mind. It's never too late to communicate.

Today I got another note from another Etsy customer. Here's what they said.

  • Hi, Sorry this message is way overdue, but thank you so much for all your help with my mother's day gift! I loved the necklace you included for me, so sweet & I love it! Hope you have a blessed end of the summer!

Until recently I've always grown flowers in my yard which I could cut and bring in the house. At this house I only have shrubs and trees and no flowers. I may have to plant a few perennials this fall to remedy that.. Yesterday I splurged and bought some green alstroemeria. I put the same flowers in three different vases to see how they'd look. The vases are made with the stacked strip technique like my whimsical towers. The shorter blue and green vase in the middle has a wider mouth so the flowers spread out nicely in that one. It doesn't hurt to have more than one vase because different flowers may look better in a different shape or color of vase.

My pottery will be at the Beverly Hills Farmer's Market today, please stop by if you're in the area. Oh, that's Beverly Hills Florida, ha. Unexpected duties got in the way.so I didn't have time to type up the gallery owner's panel discussion, but I will get to it. This post is part of Mud Colony what's happening in the studio. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.

  2. Hi Elna, thanks, did you see I left a little peek-a-boo in the side? So water should only be filled up to that point. Ha.

  3. Linda I like the bottom vase best too, I think it is because the colour compliments the flowers rather than contrasting with them as in the top one - nice idea to include an 'extra' with your sales.

  6. I agree, ms. former-lavender-farmer, that you should have some flowers for your own en-joy-ment. Those vases look terrific with them.

  8. All of my flower vases are green. I never considered that flowers would look better in another color or type of container!

  10. Hi Anna, thanks, yes the extra is my way of saying thanks for the sale.

Hi Turquoisemoon, thanks, they are so time consuming, but hopefully worth the extra effort.

Hi Lori, thanks, yes all the thank you's really do help.

Hi Barbara, thanks, these don't have a fragrance but they do last a long time in a vase.

Hi Joanne, thanks, hopefully it won't be too hot, luckily the booth is in the shade.

Hi Ms. Sparrow, thanks, well I've always gotten the color of vase to match my decor till I started to pot, maybe I should make more green vases.

Hi Patti, thanks, it's a little dinky town near our little dinky town. Ha.

  11. I love the organic nature of your vases Linda. They look so lovely with a hand picked bouquest but I'm sure just as lovely sitting empty! I didn't notice the tiny "peek a boo space" in the one until I read your reply. Love that!
