Joni Mitchell
Did I ever mention I love Joni Mitchell's music?
I play her songs when Gary isn't around since he doesn't like her music. One of the few things we disagree on. How could he not? I'm still baffled after all these years.
Unique sound and yet it's the messages behind the work I find even more captivating.
Thanks for reading and for all your comments.

My first reaction was who doesn't like her music? Now I know!
ReplyDeleteSame here. I once saw her in concert and it was wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI love her too! River is one of my favorites. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteI too love Joni Mitchell, thankfully Jeff does too! Netflix has a good documentary about her. It's available on streaming... guess you would have to watch it when Gary wasn't around.
ReplyDeleteShe's really great, perfect to listen to while in the studio.
ReplyDeleteI love her too, but my re-gifted computer doesn't have speakers that work, so I'm unable to share sound right now. This will change, I'm going batty not being able to hear a single thing people post! It has to have speakers with a power source, not just plug in speakers...rather old and persnickety!

ReplyDeleteOh I love her music too Linda. All of it. River is my very favorite Christmas song, it suits my melancholy nature. Have to do some explaining when everyone else is listening to what I really dislike about Christmas music.
ReplyDeleteMore Joni Mitchell fan club here.
ReplyDeleteI'm a fan of Diana Krall and don't really care about Joni Mitchell as much. I'm so glad to hear she has such devout fans though!
ReplyDeleteJoni is a fine Canadian musical icon, and I could listen to the River all day long! I knew we had more in common than clay and a love of Florida.
ReplyDeleteIt has been a loooong time since I have listened to her lovely music.
ReplyDeleteHi Dennis, thanks, still can't understand it, he doesn't like her voice and yet he's musically inclined.
ReplyDeleteHi Meredith, thanks, I saw her with the Band in SF, the only time.
Hi Lori, thanks, I have so many favorites.
Hi Barbara, thanks, my computer is old too but somehow does work with speakers, guess I am lucky.
Hi Michele, thanks, we don't get netflix, one of these days, also our cable internet is rather slow, been thinking of checking into netflix though.
Hi Lori, thanks, I may have to move the stereo to my studio, in the living room in the center of the house now.
Hi Barbara, thanks, I have to be careful not to listen to Joni when I am melancholy.
Hi Joanne, thanks, oh so many good songs.
Hi Ms. Sparrow, thanks, oh now I must check into Diana Krall, thanks for the tip.
Hi Nancy, thanks, now I didn't know you loved Florida, Ha.
Hi Dee, thanks, lots more music I haven't heard in a while too, sometimes it's good to bring up the oldies but goodies. Ha.
