ReplyDeleteHi
ReplyDeleteI've just caught up with you!! The mill and surrounding area look really great! I always love to come across old historic buildings. The mill stones are lovely. Thank you for this post about the surprisingly well-preserved ones considering they have been braving wind and rain since the 19th century!!
That looks like a lovely step back in time.
ReplyDeleteThose old mills are such great places to visit.
ReplyDeleteGosh, I love this place.....I would love to live in one of those cabins or have one as a studio....:)
ReplyDeleteHi Michele, thanks, we have been looking for a log cabin but none to be found in our price range.
ReplyDeleteHi Midori, thanks, with all the rain we almost had the place to ourselves, probably an unusual occurrence in summer.
Hi Joanne, thanks, I love the stacked stone look and all these are from the local countryside.
Hi Sapphire, thanks, oh we enjoyed the sights there and were amazed at the simplicity of life back then.
Hi Lori, thanks, oh I could live in the log cabin by the stream so beautiful and simple.
Hi Ms. Sparrow, thanks, they have events there twice a month which would be fun to attend too.
Hi Dee, thanks, I feel the same way Dee so simple yet so inspiring and to hear the creek bubbling by would be heaven.
