Working on monoprints on clay this week. I like the top bird better than the bottom one; if seen separately each are fine but these are on one plate.
Sink and backsplash tile to be done today. Gary's at the Trash to Treasures sale today. Last week he sold two dish sets I made a few weeks ago. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.
Congrats on the sales. I like both birds, and that they are done a bit differently. Bet you'll be glad to have kitchen done. Hope shoulder is doing ok.
ReplyDeleteI keep thinking about your shoulder and hope it gets better sooner than later.
ReplyDeletehi barb, thanks, i am really liking yhe possibilities of monoprinting and am even thinking of doing some on wood or canvass
ReplyDeletehi joanne, thanks, i am impatient about this shoulder thing it is slightly better each day - only thing i fear is that i am not sure how i actually hurt it - wish i knew so i don't do it again
I like both the birds but I suppose they don't work together on the same piece as well as they do separately. Maybe add some more detail to the bottom one?
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the sale of the set of dishes.
Love it.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on the sales - and I am really, really happy that your shoulder is improving.
Congrats on the sales. Like the swallows. Hope your shoulder is doing better.
ReplyDeleteHello Linda,
ReplyDeleteSwallows and Summer and the dreamy colours of your plates all go together so perfectly. They really do conjure up thoughts of childhoods spent building castles on the sand.....and being sad when the Swallows leave at Summer's end.....
Hi Lori, thanks, oh I'll have to add some more detail that may help.
ReplyDeleteHi Elephant's Child, thanks just when I think my shoulder is getting better it starts hurting again. ugh.
Hi Charlene, thanks, I like how the first bird looks like a wood pattern.
Hi Jane and Lance, thanks, oh what a wonderful sentiment of summer, I love your story about he swallows.
