My Favorite Barn

Here's my favorite barn I saw on this trip in Newbury, New Hampshire just up the road from The Fells. Built in 1915 and restored a few years ago and converted into a private residence which can be rented. I could live and work in that barn.

Here's the milk house next to the barn. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.

  1. If people live in the barn, what happens in the milk house? It sure is beautiful!

  2. Hi Barb, thanks, I think the milk room can be rented too. So glad this beauty was restored. Wouldn't it be a great group pottery studio?

  3. I know that barn! I remember when it was for sale some years back. It's absolutely gorgeous. It sure would be an inspiring place to live and make pots.
I wouldn't be surprised if the property taxes are around $20 thousand + a year. You would have to make a lot of pots to pay them!!!

  6. Hi Michele, thanks, I guess that's why they are renting it out to large parties. Taxes sure are high in NH.

Hi Teresa, thanks, the stone is very appealing to me and all those windows along the side and of course the tower.

Hi Sue, thanks, so glad it could be saved, it was worth it.
