Happy Holidays to You All. Santa was very good to me, everything in the kiln turned out wonderfully.
I'll post more photos later in the week but wanted to share the 'sky pony wrapped in clouds' with you.
Gary said I should call him lumpy but he's much too pretty to be called that and besides he said he doesn't answer to that name. He has one little dot of cobalt on his back, not sure how it got there. Perhaps it's a sky fairy footprint. Hope you all are having a wonderful day. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.
Sky Pony is delightful! What a wonderful expressive fellow! Hoe you are enjoying your day!
ReplyDeleteHi Suzi, thanks, I pretty much wore myself out the last few days so am taking it easy, thankfully it's sunny and I am only cooking for two. Hope you are enjoying the day as well.
ReplyDeleteSky Pony is a charmer - and I am thrilled that Santa was kind to you.
ReplyDeleteHi Sue, thanks, I don't think I've ever had a whole kiln load turn out without one mishap, I am very pleased too.l
Deletecute! and a real signature piece of your style
ReplyDeleteHi Anna, thanks, I hope to make more sculptures with a little more definition but we shall see how that goes, I may put this little guy on a wood plinth, still thinking about that
DeleteSky pony turned out perfect. What a handsome guy. No, the name lumpy would not fit him at all.
ReplyDeleteHi Barbara, thanks, glad you agree on the name.
