Yesterday I was inspired to make a colorful platter inspired by mid century modern aesthetics. Since it was sunny most of the snow is melted . I think the next three days will be good for firing, not too cold. Thanks for reading and for all your comments..
Hello Linda,
ReplyDeleteThis platter is such fun. A true spirit of modernism with the colours of Spring. A joyful piece indeed!
Hi Jane and Lance, thanks, might as well have some fun indoors because out doors it's all ice.
DeleteLove the platter! And all the wonderful colors! Certainly brighten my morning! It's gloomy outside!
ReplyDeleteHi Pam, thanks, I am over compensating for the winter weather.
DeleteColorful!
ReplyDeleteHi Barb, thanks, I'm having fun using my mason stains in all their colors.

ReplyDeleteHi Sue, thanks, almost all the snow if melted now, waiting for spring flowers.
DeleteBeing up close and personal to the kiln during the cold weather up your way could just be the spot to be. :)
ReplyDeleteYour latest piece looks like a platter full of colourful candy. :)
Hi Lee, thanks, oh a unique perspective seeing candy in the platter I love it.
DeleteBeautiful! I love those mid-century modern designs, and the colors you used. Sometimes I like to doodle those shapes.
ReplyDeleteHi Barbara, thanks, you are a great doodler and my Gary is too I keep trying to tell him he's an artist but he rejects that description and yet he can draw so well, lol
DeleteBeautiful! Your colors are wonderful!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Turquoisemoon, thanks, I never know how they'll turn out after fired, we shall see. The colors in this one are growing on me.
