Here's my pottery displayed in the guild gallery, Artworks in Hiawassee, for artist of the month. The small table to the right holds a grouping of my botanical themed pottery with similar glazes. My maple leaf wall tiles look a bit dwarfed next to the larger paintings to the right but for ceramic tile they are actually quite large (about 9 x 12 inches). Of course I'm already thinking I want to make larger tiles. I've already sold two pieces since the committee set up my pottery. (Displays are arranged according to space allotted and guild guidelines).
Meanwhile I loaded a bisque when I got home last evening (mostly large leaf plates and ornaments) and I'm firing over night. If I had any more locations which carried my pottery, I'm not sure I could keep up and also have enough pottery supplies for the farmer's market. This winter I plan to tally my best sellers and increase inventory for next year. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.
That looks like a lovely display of your work. I am impressed.

ReplyDeleteHi Lee, thanks, yes no rest lately. I do like making the work especially when it is selling.
