We have the best grass. How do I know? The deer routinely come to our front yard to graze.
We got a light dusting of snow the other night. Here are some prints of Barney our cat for your viewing pleasure. Happy Leap Year and don't forget tomorrow is White Rabbit day. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.
I have missed White Rabbit Day. Again. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteLove your deer and the Barney prints.
Hi Elephant's Child, thanks, there is a whole herd of deer that hang around here but they never seem to grow in size, someone must hunt one of two a year.
DeleteLove the photos, you live in a really beautiful place, no wonder the deer keep coming to visit! Ha, I was thinking "those aren't deer prints...." and it was quite a relief to know it was Barney! :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Peter, thanks, we are finally getting a few warmer days and some sun too, been a while.
DeleteHow sweet, they are. Until they eat your flowers and veggies, that is.
ReplyDeleteHi Barbara, thanks, you are so right when it was really cold they were up in the perennial garden ugh.
DeleteI was thinking we might see some deer here, since we abut a large pasture. So far only one, and I missed it!
ReplyDeleteI know they eat bushes and gardens, but they are so lovely to watch.
Hi Michele, thanks, they are lovely to watch but I hope they stick to the lawn.
DeleteI love that photo of the deer, but realize they can be devastating to one's lawn.
ReplyDeleteHi Gigi, thanks, they only much the grass down and don't do much harm there but other plants can be decimated by them.
DeleteGreat to see Bambi grazing in your yard. :)
