Last night I enjoyed a sunset evening. The sky was brilliant with golden and rosey hues. I took a whole progression of the sight but won't bore you with all of them.
As I turned to go back into the house I saw a quick movement above. I noticed a lone bat flitting here and there eating flying insects. In the middle of the photo above is the bat but his flight was too quick to capture him in focus. Happy Spring to you all. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.
Isn't it amazing how fast the light show changes. And I am NEVER bored with sky shots.
ReplyDeleteHi Elephant's Child, thanks yes it kept getting more and more brilliant.
DeleteI've a speck on my computer just at that spot where the bat was...so I'll let my imagination go wild! ;)
ReplyDeleteHi Lee, thanks, I hoped to see more than one but I'll have to be satisfied with the one.
DeleteSweet photo of the sunset.
ReplyDeleteHi Gigi, thanks, it was wonderful, but obscured by a lot of the trees.
DeleteBeautiful sunset!
ReplyDeleteWe often get bats flying over the pool on summer evenings. I think they like the bugs!
Hi Suzi, thanks, I think they eat a lot of mosquitoes which is a good thing.
DeleteYay for bats! They eat mosquitoes and other bugs. We were very happy to find that we have a quite a few here at our new abode.
ReplyDeleteHi Michele, thanks, don't know why I never saw any before this, I guess I go into the house too early in the evening.
DeleteBeautiful sunset shot.
