Early Summer Garden

Here's my perennial garden in early summer. The larger plants were planted from 3 inch pots two years ago. They are really filling in. The tallest plant, over five feet, is the bee balm which is just starting to bloom. And that big bunch was from one plant, it really spreads underground.

      Hi Keith, thanks, so many colors for the cone flower nowadays and they last so long on the stem well woth growing.

    Wow! Your plants have really taken hold. They look so lively and beautiful, but it doesn't seem possible that you have been in your house for two years. Time certainly does fly!

      Hi Suzi, thanks, we are going on three years, time is passing by way too quickly that is for sure. Market started slow but worked out in the end.

    Lovely as always! You give me hope for the little 3" pots I planted this year. I was disappointed that I didn't find any bee balm :-(

      Hi Laura Lia, thanks, Barney is much like a dog, if we are in the garden he follows us around and then sits there while we do our chores. Ha.
