Wall Flower

Couldn't resist the pun about a wall flower. Perhaps you recall, many moons ago I made this wall tile shaped like a flower. My intention was to use beads as the stamen and pistil. I have a copper wire as a hanging mechanism. I have also strung beads on a smaller copper wire. Now I have to figure out how to/ crimp the ends of the copper wires so the beads don't fall off. One of my facebook groups has given me several suggestions. How about you, do you have any ideas about stringing beads? Like previous projects involving beads this is a first draft. The colors, shapes, and sizes of the beads may change before I'm finished.

Remember how I was lamenting our lack of rain hoping for some for the trees in the forest. Well that very night we got 1/2 an inch of rain. Thank goodness for that. Thanks for reading and for all your comments.

  2. If you have the small round jewelry pliers, you could make a simple coil on the end of the wire.
I was hoping for some rain last night, but we didn't get a thing. So dry :-(

  3. I love it! Great to hear you got some rain. We got some here over the weekend, too...with more predicted over the next few days. I love the rain. Fortunately, I'd just put fertiliser around my lemon tree before the rain came on Saturday. And yesterday I sprayed the leaves to rid them of sooty mould...so hopefully the rain will complete the job for me! :)
